The Akker Mill of Zundert dates from 1665. The standard mill is the oldest type of wheat mill. This type of mill turns to the wind completely by assistance of the tail of the mill. The mill was actively used until 1950. Since then it has been kept turning by voluntary millers. In the mill you can read inscriptions by millers and their helpers from 1804.
Every first Saturday of the month from 13.00 pm to 16.00 pm. Also open on the National Cycling and Mill Day and on the National Monument Day. When there is enough wind the mill will be working.
